About Us

ELDA is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization located in Contra Costa County.

  • Our purpose is to serve people who have been over-looked, and over-stretched — who are struggling with poverty and other complex issues. 
  • ELDA believes that through a process of healing, life-skills development, and staying connected, can lead this marginalized population on a path to restoring healthy values, and becoming active members within their respective communities.

To provide a safe and nurturing environment for our community members while fostering self-sufficiency, and healing.
