Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of ELDA’S Programs—we are always in need of volunteer support to distribute hygiene packets, resource guides, bag lunches, and if need be, to listen to the client’s story - a sensitive and caring ear can save a life!
Change Agents
Become an "agent of change" by supporting our community members with arranging medical appointments and transportation * recovery and stability * safety and wellness advocacy * outreach development * technical support * Spanish to English translators * trainee intern * facilities coordinator.
ELDA's Angels
Help cook, serve and clean up. This is an extremely valuable position to fill where volunteers and financial help are always needed.
Requirements
• Must complete a LiveScan background check paid for by ELDA
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must complete online Change Agent training
• Able to volunteer at least 6-8 hours per week for 4 months
• Able to carry/lift up to 20 lbs. of materials
• Ability to walk or stand for sustained periods of time while performing duties
